Confession: I made this chocolate mousse because I am on a mission to clear out my pantry. I knew I wanted to make mousse of some kind, so I went to my pantry to see what I could find. And that’s when I found a container of marshmallow fluff. The wheels in my brain started turning, and I came up with this incredible dessert.
The incredible thing about this recipe is the fantastic, pillowy texture that the marshmallow fluff gives this mousse. The other cool thing about this recipe is that there is an insanely rich chocolate flavor to balance out all the sweetness. Trust me, this is going to be your new favorite chocolate mousse!
Chocolate Fluff Mousse
Ingredients
- 16 oz parve whip or Rich’s Whip
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Using an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat whip on high speed until completely stiff.
- Add marshmallow fluff and continue to beat until combined.
- Add cocoa, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat to combine.
- Spoon or pipe the mousse into dessert cups, or fill a graham cracker pie crust with the mousse and freeze for a chocolate mousse pie.
Notes
Plan Ahead:
This mousse freezes well, in an airtight container.

we love this recipe so much! Thank you. We used to make your other one all the time (the eggless one) but my kids prefer this one and its simpler. Have you ever tried freezing in pipingbags, defrosting and then piping into individual glasses? need to make for a sheva bracha but cant freeze in the glass goblets that I plan on serving them in….this would be a total game changer…

Sure, that will work nicely!
