Pomegranate Lemonade

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • water and ice, for serving
  • lemon slices, optional, for serving
Instructions
  1. To make concentrate:
  2. In a small pot, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir occasionally, for a couple of minutes, until sugar has dissolved and mixture is clear.
  3. Add pomegranate juice and lemon juice and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Store in fridge until ready to use.
  5. To serve:
  6. Place ice cubes in a tall glass. Pour one cup of water and about 3 tablespoons of concentrate into glass. Stir to combine. If desired, add a slice of lemon on to the rim of the glass.
