Roasted Broccoli and Red Onion

Ingredients
  • 1 red onion, cut in thin slices
  • 12 ounces fresh broccoli
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon ground (dried) mustard
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Cut the onion slices in half to make shorter onion strips. Place onto prepared tray.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and toss so everything gets coated.
  4. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
