Pastrami Wrapped Honey Mustard Drumsticks

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 10 drumsticks
  • 10 slices (about 6 ounces) pastrami
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together oil, honey, mustard, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and soy sauce until smooth.
  3. Place both drumsticks and pastrami slices into the honey mustard mixture, so that they're all fully covered. (Work carefully so the pastrami doesn't rip.)
  4. One at a time, wrap a slice of pastrami around a drumstick, then place onto prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes, turning halfway through.

  1. This chicken is best enjoyed fresh, but can be reheated a day or two later.
