Hey friends! If you follow my page on facebook, you know that something exciting is in the works here at Overtime Cook. Well it’s finally reveal time!
I’ve partnered up with CookKosher.Com, and the talented folks behind it – Leah Schapira and Victoria Dwek – to host and judge the biggest kosher online recipe contest ever. I’m so excited about it – let me tell you how it works.
Firstly, about Cook Kosher. It’s a fabulous recipe sharing website, where home cooks like yourself can upload your favorite recipes, search for other’s recipes, and rate/review the recipes you’ve tried. There’s a wealth of kosher food on the site, and it’s a fabulous resource for anyone who loves to share recipes and discover new ones.
From now until December 2nd, we are hosting a HUGE recipe contest. One grand prize winner will have their recipe featured in an upcoming book in the best selling Made Easy cookbook series. The other one is going to have their recipes tested, styled, photographed and featured by me, right here on Overtime Cook. If sharing your prized recipe in the spotlight isn’t enough for you, the winner will receive either a private cooking class or a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer! (See post for details.)
But it gets better! Twice a week we will be raffling off great prizes to a randomly selected winner! Tomorrow’s prize is 2 tickets to Kosherfest – an amazing experience for any food loving person! Go enter your recipe, review a recipe you’ve tried, or upload a picture you’ve taken of a recipe before 8 PM eastern time tomorrow, 10/24, and you could win! And make sure to come say hi to me when you’re at KosherFest!
What kind of recipes work for this contest?
I hope you’ll all share your recipes! Whether it’s bubby’s secret ingredient latkes, or your favorite baked donut recipe, or anything you might serve on Chanukah! I can’t wait to see!
For full details, and to enter, check out this post on CookKosher.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below and I’ll try my best to answer!
I’m so excited to see what you all come up with! Good luck to all of you! -Miriam
