You’re Invited To…A Something Sweet Launch Party!

It all started a few months ago, when I announced my cookbook. A couple of fans on facebook suggested, half jokingly, that I should have a launch party and offer samples of my recipes to all of my readers. At the time, I laughed it off as an impossibility. I can’t possibly make samples for all of my readers!

But then, I couldn’t let go of the idea, and a top Kosher grocery store here in New York stepped in and offered to host the party, so here we are. It’s not in my home, and I am not personally making every sample, but this is finally a way for me to meet all of my fans, give you all some treats, and demo a few of my favorite recipes for you!

So…

Don’t know about Breadberry yet? Well you’re about to discover that it’s one of the hottest new kosher stores. So much more than a grocery store, Breadberry claims to be the “home of good food” and let me tell you – based on everything I’ve tried, they aren’t kidding. Their coffee bar (right in front of the store) serves up delicious hot and cold drinks, plus milkshakes and more, to enjoy while you shop. Hungry for some meat? Choose some freshly seasoned meat and they’ll grill it while you shop – so you can pick it up when you’re done. How convenient is that? They also have an incredible selection of dips (you have GOT to try their hummus and basil pesto) and a bakery with all kinds of amazing goodies. They also serve the most heavenly looking sandwiches, and lots of other amazing food. It’s probably worth coming just to see the store!

Anyway, back to the party.

Reserve the date: Tuesday, September 1st, from 7-10 pm. 

Where: In Breadberry, in Boro Park, Brooklyn. Store is on the corner of 17th and 60th street.

What: A whole lot of fun!

Ok, here’s the plan. I’m going to be demoing three of the recipes from my cookbook. The excellent chefs at Breadberry are preparing samples of these recipes, so you’ll be able to taste them and get a little bit of a taste for what’s in my book.

The demos will be at: 7:15 | 8:15 | 9:15. I really hope you’ll be able to stay for all three, but if not, you’ll still enjoy whatever you’re there for!

In between the demos, I’ll be signing books. You can either bring your copy in if you pre-ordered or bought it in a store, or you can buy a copy right there at the party. Of course, I can’t wait to meet you all – to schmooze, answer your baking questions, take some pics, and have fun!

We’ll also be having some exciting raffles after each demo, so don’t miss it!
