Plan ahead with these freezer-friendly Rosh Hashanah recipes!

15 Make Ahead and Freeze Rosh Hashanah Desserts

Don’t kill me folks! I know lost of you are still in summer mode. So. Am. I. In fact, I’ve got a seriously summery recipe in a day or two. But so many of you have been asking me about Rosh Hashanah menus (clearly you’re much more on top of things than I am!), and obviously anything you cook or bake now will need to be frozen. So I’ve compiled a list of 15 recipes from my blog that would be an excellent addition to your Holiday menu – all of which freeze well! I included the links below, along with any instructions you need for freezing it. For more ideas, make sure to follow my Rosh Hashanah Pinterest board.

  1. Streusel Swirled Butterscotch Bundt Cake (Best to freeze without the glaze then glaze at the last minute, but it can be frozen with the glaze.)
  2. Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies (Omit the pecans if you don’t eat nuts on Rosh Hashanah.)
  3. Honey Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting (These are better frosted last minute, but can be frozen with the frosting.)
  4. Mini Chocolate Pomegranate Bundt Cake (Best to freeze without the glaze then glaze at the last minute, but it can be frozen with the glaze.)
  5. Pumpkin Bundt Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze (Best to freeze without the glaze then glaze at the last minute, but it can be frozen with the glaze.)
  6. Maple Sour Cream Bundt Cake – works beautifully with honey instead of maple! (Best to freeze without the glaze then glaze at the last minute, but it can be frozen with the glaze.)
  7. (Not Your Bubby’s) Honey Cookies
  8. Lemon Glazed Honey Cookies (Best to freeze without the glaze then glaze at the last minute, but it can be frozen with the glaze.)
  9. Mini Apple and Honey Tarts
  10. Hot Gooey Caramel Pie
  11. Healthy Apple Spice Muffins
  12. Baked Apple Pie Wontons (Make the caramel dipping sauce fresh.)
  13. Chewy Molasses Ginger Cookies
  14. Snickerdoodles
  15. Mini Coffee Mousse Trifles
