You’re Invited To…A Something Sweet Launch Party!

August 25, 2015 by overtimecook 10 Comments

It all started a few months ago, when I announced my cookbook. A couple of fans on facebook suggested, half jokingly, that I should have a launch party and offer samples of my recipes to all of my readers. At the time, I laughed it off as an impossibility. I can't possibly make samples for all of my readers! But then, I couldn't let go of the idea, and a top Kosher grocery store here in New York stepped in and offered to host the party, so here we are. It all started four years ago today. August 7th, 2011 was the day I published my first post here on Overtime Cook.I've written previously about how my blog got started. Not too bad for an iphone photo and a gal with zero experience! What started that day has become so much more than a hobby. It's become a life-changing passion. So much has happened in the last four years. Millions (literally!) of readers, a magazine column, a thriving food photography business, and lots of new friends. And now, of … [Read more...]
