What if I copied the instructions down wrong and caused people to ruin their $60 piece of meat?! Thankfully, the roast got RAVE reviews, and I got to stop worrying, but you get the point. I worry. A lot. But … [Read more...]

The Side Dish: Something Sweet Update, Reviews and Events

October 23, 2015 by overtimecook 2 Comments

Well. This is kind of ridiculous, isn't it? When I wrote my first "Side Dish" post, I knew it wasn't realistic to expect a weekly series (I'm just not reliable enough, and have too much to do!) but I hoped it would be monthly. Bi-monthly maybe? But here we are. It's been over a year and I'm finally posting my second installment in "The Side Dish" series, but I do have an excuse. Although I didn't announce it here until much later, it was about the time that I wrote that post that I started writing my cookbook. Yeah, it was crazy hard keeping a secret that good for that long, but it's all been worth it, don'tcha think? Buy Something Sweet on Amazon |ArtScroll Well, it's all come full … [Read more...]

As an aside, I need to tell you (again, in case you weren't paying attention the last bunch of times) one of my favorite … [Read more...]
